Install Ruby On Rails Step by Step

Download files:

1.Ruby

http://files.rubyforge.vm.bytemark.co.uk/rubyinstaller/rubyinstaller-1.9.2-p136.exe

2.Gem

http://files.rubyforge.vm.bytemark.co.uk/rubygems/rubygems-1.4.2.zip

3.Rails

http://files.rubyforge.vm.bytemark.co.uk/rails/rails-2.3.3.zip

4.SQLite

http://www.sqlite.org/sqlite-dll-win32-x86-3070400.zip

1.install ruby & configure RUBY_PATH

2.cd rubygems-1.4.2

"ruby setup.rb" & "gem install rails" Don't care about the errors.

"rails new myapp" Create web application

cd myapp

"bundle install" Install require gem

3.Extract SQLite in Ruby192/bin folder

"rails server"

4.http://localhost:3000

Done!
